The Cardiac Center, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society is the Tertiary Medical Center that provides medical diagnosis and treatment to patients with complicated cardiac disease. The full service of advanced technology medical equipment managed by medical personnel with high expertise and experience is provided. It is also the public R&D and knowledge hub.

Mission

To educate and produce the medical specialists as well as medical personnel at all levels to provide medical rehabilitation, disease prevention, excellent health promotion by international standards R&D and medical innovation and to continuously improve the medical service for everyone’s quality of life.


The Cardiac Center consists of several units;

  1. Department of Cardiovascular Medicine.
  2. Department of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery.
  3. Department of Cardiology Pediatrics.
  4. Department of Cardiology and Chest Anesthesiology.
  5. Department of Heart Radiography with Electromagnetic Wave Computer tomography
  6. Cardiac Rehabilitation.

  1. Congenital Heart Surgery.
  2. Cardiac Aortic Surgery.
  3. Coronary Resection or Cardiac Bypass Surgery.
  4. Cardiac Valve Repair Surgery.
  5. Cardiac Valve Replacement Surgery.
  6. Cardiac Transplantation Surgery.
  7. Cardiac Pace-Making Surgery (Irregular Heartbeat).
  8. Heart and chest anesthesia.
  9. Pediatric patients with heart diseases.
  10. Cardiac physiology Electrocardiogram and pacemaker installation.
  11. Cardiac catheterization, color injection of coronary arteries.
  12. Cardiac Aortic replacement without surgery.
  13. Echocardiography at the cardiac valves.
  14. The right ventricle cutting for diagnosis through a heart catheter.
  15. Echocardiography.
  16. MRI.
  17. Cardiac check up by X-ray computer.
  18. MIBI.
  19. Cardiac check up with belt machine.
  20. Graph and cardiac rhythm monitoring 24-48 hours (Holter).
  21. Fainting condition check up with an adjustable   bed.
  22. Examination of peripheral leg obstructions.
  23. Prevention of heart disease.
  24. Physical therapy and cardiac rehabilitation.
  25. Fibrinolytic clinic for cardiovascular patients.
