The Welfare Restaurant Bhumisiri Mangkhalanusorn Building, floor 13, is one of the food courts servicing patients, their relatives, and hospital personnel. It offers main meals and desserts, healthy food, vegetarian food and Muslim food, including cheap food with the ‘Blue Flag’, starting at only 30-baht. Food boxes are also provided for food delivery. To set the same standard among all shops, they are strictly audited in a regular manner in accordance with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital’s standards. All the cooks and food service staff are required to have the annual health check-up. Each shop is open to the random food inspection in accordance with the Food Safety criteria of the Ministry of Public Health. Moreover, all shop operators are required to get a standard evaluation by the KCMH board. The strict service hours are adhered to while the environmental awareness, hygiene and standard pricing are mandatory.
