The Lor Chula Store or The King Chulalongkorn, Thai Red cross Hospital Souvenir store opened on December 1^st, 2013 at M Floor,
Bhor Por Ror Building. Mr.Phan Wannamethee was the chairman of the opening ceremony along with the hospital Management Team. In the past, the Lor Chula Store started with selling T-shirts with the Lor (ฬ thai alphabet) symbol and different screen printing on T-shirts and Shirts with collars. This merchandise is for patients, families and visitors to choose as souvenirs. Hospital staff can also buy them as souvenirs, to support the hospital and to wear on special occasions. The store has a wide selection of products for everyone such as mugs, Thermos flasks, containers, refill cases, handbags, purses, key chains, umbrellas, hats, neckties, face mask, extension cords etc., including amulets as spiritual anchors.

The Lor Chula Store has received a good response from visitors and the store is well-known. The store makes a profit equivalent to stores from the private sector. So, the hospital approved a store expansion. First, there was only one store which is located at G Floor, Bhor Por Ror Building. The second store is located at M floor near the escalator, there is a temporary pop up store to sell merchandise after hours, located at G floor, Bhor Por Ror Building near the Thai Commercial bank.

Vision and Mission

The Lor Chula Store aims to sell reasonably priced and good quality products for everybody. Buying products at the store can also make a merit at the same time while all related stakeholders benefit from the Creating Shared Valued principles:

1. It is our pride and branding value to provide good products to society while the benefits from the store are distributed to support those needed patients.
2. The quality products are affordable at lower price to the market benchmark while the merit making is counted at each purchase.
3. A part of income is managed for funding to those needed patients.
4. The retired personnel have a job opportunity as the staff at Lor Chula store.

As the manager of The Lor Chula Store, Adjunct Assistant Professor Dr. Surin Artsawawitoontip, Assistant Director in the Corporate image unit has responsibility to manage and maintain friendly distribution service.

Our Service

Selling Merchandise to Patients, visitors and hospital staff to advertise and display a good image of The King Chulalongkorn hospital. After the deduction of expenses, the money will be spent supporting destitute patients.

08.00 – 15.30 hrs. Both stores. (Bhor Por Ror Building, G Floor and M Floor)

Weekend

08.00 – 12.00 hrs. (Pop-up store only)
Bhor Por Ror Building, M Floor (In front of the Siam Commercial Bank)
